It’s fantastic that you mentioned that these charming board books guide toddlers and preschoolers in developing early social skills. My sister was asking if what is the best Educational Books for her daughter. I will suggest finding the best early reader chapter book series for girls. Her kids would genuinely love it.
I would use them for our bilingual story time for my babies and toddlers.
I would use them as SEL read alouds and place them in our classroom library so students can self regulate.
I am training to be a teacher at MLC and would love these books for my classroom in a few years!
I am an ECSE teacher partnering and supporting community preschools and district Pre-Ks. I would love to use these books to support my students with their social-emotional learning especially those schools with a high population of Spanish speaking students and families.
I am a ECE teacher who works with Toddlers. As a research fellow, I am working on a systematic review that targets bilingual emergent reading acquisition and the best practices that support language learning outcomes. Literacy is the number one most important factor. I adore reading to my little ones. Hearing their language reflected in books designed just for them targets their interest and promote their language development even further. Thank you for doing this giveaway and allowing teachers the chance to further promote the growing multiculturalism in their classrooms! If I win, I will not hesitate to read these books throughout the day and to have them readily available for their personal use.
Though I teach middle school math, I believe these books may help some of our English Language Learners by giving them some approachable titles to read. I hope it will hook them into reading once they find success with it.
I am a elementary school counselor in a Title 1 district and have a diverse group of economically disadvantaged school. I am working on SEL with the entire student body PreK-5th grades.
Coming back from the pandemic shutdown, we’ve noticed our HS kids have not had as much opportunity to practice social skills or be in a group of peers, so I would definitely use these simple books to introduce pro-social skills!
I would also like to include them in my future “lawn” library!

We are in our second year of a new Dual Immersion program and what a fun way for our kids to learn with books! We could have these in classrooms and also available for students and families to read in their homes.

I have several high school students who will be teaching Spanish in the elementary schools in our district during their study halls. These would be a great way to introduce the language to elementary students who never get the exposure to Spanish until 8th grade.
These valued books would be used to build relationships, foster language and build connections.
These books would be a welcome asset to our school, which has a high Latino population. Plus, we are a Title I school. We have 2 VPK classes, plus a small VPK class for students with special needs. We would love to use these books for SEL lessons!

Hi am a preschool TA and I most definitely use these books in the classroom, but most importantly read them to my kids! Literacy is so important in the classroom!
These books would be spectacular and a blessing in ESL classes. They can even be used with adults that are just learning to read!!!!! They would definitely be used many, many times.

I would love to have these books for my express home library for my young bilingual kids. With my oldest being 7 and my youngest 5, these are perfect to practice reading in Spanish. My kids love books and would have a blast adding these to their library at home. We also visit a little library (looks like a bird house) in our community park where we are constantly exchanging books with other families. We do the “leave a book, take a book” These books wont stay shelfed in 1 home for a long time they will definitely get passed around with-in my community making several kids very excited.

I am an early learning director. We teach Spanish and Chinese in our school. We can really benefit from these instructional materials. We have 41 students and 8 teachers. Our Hispanic teachers can share the books with their colleagues as part of our professional development program. Each month, we have one PD day however, we also practice collegial partnerships two days per week. This time allows teachers to share, train, and promote many strategies that can be used cross-cultures. We would also share the books with parents during Zoom meetings and parent conferences.
I would use these books with my HS SPED Social Studies students to supplement modeling SEL and Discussion Instructional Strategies
As a future ESL elementary school teacher I would use these books in my classroom library. The library would be a place for the students to go freely grab a book and read it independently or with a partner. The beauty of these books is that they can be read by two students at once, given that it is both in English and Spanish. This can make learning much more fun with the class due to the students connecting through reading a book that interest both of them.
I would place these in my quiet area at the Head Start center where I work for the preschool age children (3-5 years old) to enjoy. I would also read them to the children during story time then have an engaging back and forth conversation about the books.
I am a future ESL elementary school teacher and I have started looking into books for my classroom library. A classroom library is so important to have when working with any grade level. For ESL students to be able to go towards the library and find a book that interest them because it is a bilingual book, makes the class more fun to accomplish their learning. Also these books would give the students the opportunity to share with their fellow classmates what the book is talking about as it will be in two languages.
These would be used to teach SEL skills in a multicultural first grade classroom.
These books would be placed on a children’s bookshelf in a preschool classroom, read often and used as an example of how to represent your community to the Child Development students in our lab school.
These would be placed in my “office library” which is available anytime a parent comes in with their younger children to see me (Middle school/High school counselor). They need something to do while mom/dad and I are talking, or books older siblings can read to the littles while we talk. I have a few Spanish books currently – but they are paperback and tend to get ruined by the really littles. These would be fantastic to add to my books – regardless of winning them.
My school has Spanish as one of the specials classes our elementary students take weekly. I would give these books to our school’s Spanish teacher to use for teaching our k-2 elementary school students Spanish basics.
I work with Early Intervention and often find a hard time finding board books for Preschoolers for Spanish Speaking Families. This is often a time when the child is learning both English and Spanish and parents are concerned when their children are not speaking as clearly as native speakers in either language. I would love to help to continue to support reading at home with these bilingual board books to encourage more reading and more language at home.

We would use these by adding them to the library’s board book collection for parents and young children. We’ve been adding more diverse materials for ESL users.
In our school, it is not unusual to have new students that don’t speak English or don’t speak it well.
Frequently, their parents speak no English. I have been working on building our collection of Spanish books (and ideally Spanish/English books) that will allow the parents to still read to their child and help the child to learn English at the same time.
Our Title 1 district serves students from a variety of backgrounds. Over 75% of them are English Learners, with Spanish as their primary language. These books will be a great addition to the School Counselors’ SEL libraries!
I have a three-year-old bilingual grandson who loves books! I would love to have a set that we can read together, and he can “teach” me more Spanish!!

I think these books would be fantastic additions to all preK classrooms! Because they are board books, my first choice might be to put them in the infant or toddler area- even those these little ones can’t read, just having bilingual books sends a strong message to the whole school community that ALL families & cultures have a special place in our classrooms! It would be fantastic to see grandparents & other older generation, ESL caregivers feel invited into the infant and toddler rooms to read with the class!
These would make a wonderful addition to our sub office for Head Start. Our office houses Home Visitors, Advocates, Partnership Coordinator,(who manages 1 Head Start teacher in an private Child Care Center setting, 2 other Child Care Centers and 1 private day care. As it is known Head Start works with many ethnic families. Would love to share with the staff and I know they would be used for many activities. Thank You.

Not only is my little a bilingual child (these books would be fabulous to have at home), but also as a school psychologist working in a predominately Hispanic school, I would like to use these books as a guide for my Spanish speaking students- character developement, emotional regulation, and other pro-social skills are offered in English so having access to these books in my students’ native language would be a GAME CHANGER.
